As with the heart charms, this shell has been hand carved
into a "clover" shape. After drilling a hole into it to make it
a charm, it was painted a beautiful shade of dark green with lighter green
fading into it. The back has been painted dark blue for a slight contrast.
The charm is about 1.25" x 1.5". It does not come with the chain
but can be added for an additional $5.00.
Every
shell is hand painted with care with an enamel-like paint. To let the paint
properly dry and not "glomp", I will let hours and sometimes days
pass between coats and accents. This ensures that each piece is of high quality
with a finish that is durable. I also paint shells that are imperfect as I
do not want to destroy natural beauty.
