This painted scallop seashell could fit in with any mermaid theme. The base coat is a greenish blue with a trim and back have been made a shiny blue. It is about 2" x 2".

Every shell is hand painted with care with an enamel-like paint. To let the paint properly dry and not "glomp", I will let hours and sometimes days pass between coats and accents. This ensures that each piece is of high quality with a finish that is durable. I also paint shells that are imperfect as I do not want to destroy natural beauty.
